The Mission

Own a defined portion of project scope across commercial and institutional construction projects, running your section of the job autonomously rather than as a shadow role.

Performance Objectives

Own the submittal process from intake through procurement, and direct subcontractor administration: payments, insurance, bond, safety, and haz-com compliance.

Own document management and project controls, and lead coordination meetings (MEP, skin, site utility and logistics, phasing).

Deliver accurate cost projection reporting for assigned scope without being requested, and execute the punch list on schedule.

Complete project closeout documentation and delivery for your area of responsibility on time.

Requirements

- Must have served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves, or U.S. National Guard.

- Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or related field.

- Experience on commercial construction projects (preferred).

- Familiarity with project management software (Procore or similar).

- Strong written and verbal communication; conflict resolution and organizational skills.

- Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast and relocate as projects require.

- Ideal fit for military engineers, Seabees, and logistics officers who managed construction, infrastructure, or facilities projects in uniform. Military equivalent: MOS 12B/12C/12N, CE ratings, 3E series AFSC, BU/CE/EO ratings, Civil Affairs 38A.
